When a child shouts, throws a toy or starts crying over a small thing, it's easy to say "bad". But is it really? Or is he just experiencing an inner tension he can't yet handle properly?
The problem is not the child, but the misunderstood emotions
Children are not born with the ability to recognise and regulate their feelings. It is a learning process in which the role of their environment, especially parents and educators, is crucial. When a child throws an angry tantrum, it is not to annoy the parent, but because something is incomprehensible or intolerable to him or her.
What happens if a child doesn't learn to manage their emotions?
🏠 At home: Frequent conflicts, constant tension and feelings of parental helplessness 🎒 School: Difficulties in peer relationships, attention deficit, learning difficulties. ⏳ In the long term: Low emotional intelligence, difficulties at work and in relationships.
The solution is not punishment, but understanding emotions
What the child needs is not to be reprimanded, but to be supported in learning what he or she is feeling and how to deal with it.

From Emotional Storm Management Workshop we use stories, games and creative tools to help children understand and express their emotions.
